This can be the template for a dozen prototypes for testing or ten thousand circuits for products that will be sold to the public. It is not like breadboards wherein you have to do everything manually one circuit at a time. You can do chemical etching or silkscreen printing for the design that you want on several boards at the same time. There are specialist shops that provide PCB manufacturing services at a low cost. Just provide them with the CAD files and they will make everything as you specified.
Increased Lifespan
You can be certain that your designs with last. Unlike circuits that use wires, there will not be any issues with broken continuity, snags, shorts, and related problems. You can drop the circuit without having to fear about components falling off due to impact. Everything will stay on the board thanks to quality soldering. Nothing will come loose and cause a malfunction. As such, the lifespan of the whole circuit will increase. Indeed, modern devices are usually discarded not because they are no longer working but because something better came along.
Ease of Troubleshooting
It can be difficult trying to figure out what went wrong. When you have a circuit that looks like a maze or a jungle due to crisscrossing wires, it takes a while to pinpoint to problem. This is not so with PCBs as you can use a multimeter to quickly figure out what has been happening. All of the component are plain to see. The computer layout can also help finding the issue. If you want a foolproof board, then go with printed circuit boards.
